Salado Lady Eagles lost to LaGrange on the road 52-39 on Jan. 3.  

Salado Lady Eagles took second place in the Thorndale basketball tournament Dec. 27-28, beating Academy, Groesbeck and Thorndale and falling to Rogers in the final game.

Salado Lady Eagles lost to China Spring 48-45 on Dec. 17 to kick off the holiday break. The game was non-district. The girls will play Dec. 27-28 before taking on LaGrange on Jan. 3.

Leander Glenn 36

Salado jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished it over the Leander Glenn Lady Grizzlies in a home game on Dec. 13. The Lady Eagles led 11-5 after the first and 30-12 at the half. Pulling starters, Salado then coasted to the 41-36 win despite being outscored 13-9 in the third quarter and 11-2 in the fourth.

Connally 48

Salado Lady Eagles scored 18 points in the third quarter while holding the Connally Lady Cadets to 10 to take the lead and hang on for a 57-48 win on Dec. 10.

Salado Lady Eagles won two of five games in the Coach Smith Memorial Tournament Dec. 5-7 to place sixth overall. Lorena Perez was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Salado JV Red Lady Eagles swept the competition at the Manor JV Tournament to take home the championship trophy.

Kenslee Konarik, Carci Pryor and Harley Drouillard were named to the All-Tournament team.

Salado Lady Eagles beat Academy Lady Bees in a home game 55-44 on Nov. 26, the only game they played over the Thanksgiving break. A game against Crawford was canceled last week.
