Eagles start baseball season with third place at Waco tourney
Salado Eagles beat Lorena back-to-back in the Waco ISD Tournament to take third place in the three-day event Feb. 25-27, going 4-1 with a loss in the second round to Harker Heights.
Drew Dobbins and Ryan Oakes were named to the All-Tournament Team.

Salado Eagles baseball season ends at hands of Navarro
Trey Ripke proves to be undoing of Eagles
Navarro’s Trey Ripke proved to be the undoing of the Salado Eagles as he contributed heavily to the two wins the Panthers took from Salado in their best-of-three series May 7-9. Ripke closed the third game and pitched for the win in the second game, as well as getting crucial hits in the two wins.
Salado ends its season with a District Championship and 20-7 record.

Eagles take district crown with 3-1 win over Taylor Ducks
With a 3-1 win at home over the Taylor Ducks April 28, Salado won District 25-4A outright finishing the regular season 17-5 and district 8-2. They will face the fourth place team in District 26-4A in the first round of the playoffs.

Salado outhits, but loses to Liberty Hill
Even though they outhit the Liberty Hill Panthers, Salado Eagles lost to the Panthers 2-1 in a district game March 28.
