Burton D. Smith, 54, passed away peacefully at his home in Broken Arrow, OK on January 4, 2022 after a 5 ½ year journey with lung cancer.
A memorial service for Gary Lee McGregor will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November
20, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3909 Ermine Trail, Temple, Texas. A livestream

Elizabeth (Liz) Silverthorne, age 97, of Salado passed from this life during the mid-morning hours of Wednesday, December 22,2021 at a Temple elderly care facility. She was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on the 18th day of July 1924 as one of six siblings to parents J.W. and Ivy (Fletcher) MacDonald.
Jerrell Dean Teltow, 84, of Burnet and formerly of Salado, passed away December 20, 2021. A celebration of Jerrell’s life was held at 11 AM Monday, December 27 at the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church in Burnet.
Janelle Ann Benton, aged 77, of Santa Fe, NM, escaped this mortal realm on Friday, December 17th, 2021, leaving behind 28 empty glass jars, 237 plastic bags, 88 twist ties, 3,028 pieces of scrap metal and multitude of other random items that may prove helpful in the event of a zombie apocalypse.
William (Billy) David Hughes, 43 of Salado passed away at his residence on December 3, 2021.
He was born in Pasadena, Texas, November 15, 1978 to Donald Gail Hughes and Sherry Louise Vernon.
Warren Stubblefield, 97, of Lexington, formerly of Salado, died December 1, 2021 at his home. Private services wll be held. Burial will be at Bell Plains Cemetery.
